Freshtec Energy supplies solar, electrical, cable, smart home and related products.
All products are subject to availability. Product descriptions, specifications, images and other information are provided to assist customers in selecting products, but specifications and availability may change.
Where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Freshtec Energy will contact the customer to discuss the available options.
2. Pricing and VAT
Prices displayed on the online store are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
Prices displayed to customers include VAT where applicable.
Freshtec Energy reserves the right to correct pricing, typographical or other errors appearing on the website. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer before proceeding with the affected item.
3. Orders
An order submitted through the website constitutes a request to purchase the selected products.
Freshtec Energy reserves the right to accept or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, information supplied is incorrect, payment cannot be verified or an obvious pricing or product-information error has occurred.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their contact, billing and delivery information is accurate.
4. Payment
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Where payment is made by EFT / Direct Bank Transfer, the customer should use the Order ID as the payment reference. An order will be processed once payment has been received and confirmed.
Freshtec Energy may introduce additional payment methods from time to time.
5. Delivery
Delivery availability and charges depend on the products ordered, delivery destination and available delivery services.
Where an automatic delivery rate is available, the applicable options and charges will be presented during checkout.
Certain products, including products requiring specialised transport or handling, may require a separate shipment quotation. Where Request a quotation for shipment is selected, the checkout total does not include the final shipment charge. Freshtec Energy will contact the customer to confirm the applicable delivery arrangements and cost.
Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Customers must provide complete and accurate delivery information. Additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information may be for the customer’s account where permitted by law.
6. Collection
Where collection is offered during checkout, customers may collect eligible orders from the Freshtec Energy collection point specified on the website or in their order information.
Customers should wait for confirmation that their order is ready before travelling to collect it.
7. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled in accordance with Freshtec Energy’s Returns Policy and applicable South African law.
Customers should inspect products after receiving them and contact Freshtec Energy as soon as reasonably possible if products are damaged, incorrect or appear defective.

Certain solar and electrical equipment must be selected, installed, configured or commissioned by suitably qualified persons.
Where technical assistance is required, customers should contact Freshtec Energy before purchasing or installing the relevant equipment.
Freshtec Energy will not be responsible for damage caused by improper installation, incorrect use, unauthorised modification or use contrary to manufacturer requirements, subject to applicable law.
9. Warranties
Products may be covered by manufacturer or supplier warranties. Warranty periods, conditions and remedies vary by product and manufacturer.
A warranty claim may require proof of purchase, product information and other information reasonably necessary to assess the claim.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

Freshtec Energy takes reasonable care to keep product, pricing and other website information accurate and current.
However, website information may occasionally contain errors or become outdated. Product photographs may also differ slightly from the actual product due to manufacturing changes, screen displays or illustrative presentation.
